This Work is a Question, Not an Answer
An invitation was given to contribute to a group show at the Lethbridge Public Library. Eisert Hall recognized that her art was driven by questions. She felt compelled to show a piece that was in keeping with her contemporaneous style. To build a small installation, she used storm windows from her private house to frame a charcoal drawing. The idea behind this work was to bring a sense of continuous perspective from the point of the viewer to the distance in the drawing. The charcoal drawing extended beyond the paper and storm window framing onto the cement walls of the exhibition space. She asked the question: "What space are you standing in, public or private space?"
