1960s Landscape
The learning process for Eisert Hall while drawing and painting landscapes was to merge her sense of self with nature. During this time, Eisert Hall developed a sense of unification with the subject and a sensitivity to subject and object relationships. A sense of discontent over painting landscape developed however, and caused Eisert Hall to explore beyond the subject matter. Her desire to explore new techniques, subject matter, and concepts led her in new directions. The result was a series of small installations created in the 1970s that honoured landscape in a different way. Landscape as a subject matter persisted throughout Eisert Hall's career.
