Parthenogenesis

Parthenogenesis was an installation built in a former Chinese Restaurant that was in transition to become a gallery. The restaurant was offered to Eisert Hall for this project. It had old worn wall paper which became drawings and paintings. The artist used the whole interior for the installation. This project relates to another of Eisert Hall's projects called Ancient Retrievals. The artist refers to a time when the higher power was a woman and that this higher power still undergirds western culture.
